powder:Bolt VS semi?

I just noticed that in my Sierra software, BLC-2 is only listed under .223 bolt action and it is not listed under .223 Semiauto.

Can't say I understand BLC-2 in this context, but sometimes slower powders don't work semi actions well.

It's just the software/manual. There's no reason not to use it for autoloaders.

BL-C(2) is a great powder - meters well and good for accuracy loads.

In the 223 it will give mid-range velocity. However, in the 222 it is a top performer.

Hoochie: BE CAREFUL. Many powders suitable for bolt actions are not suitable for semi-autos. the burn rate must be compatible with the cycling speed of the action. Use the wrong powder and you COULD have a cartridge explode in your face. Doesn't sound like fun to me.
Check Speer #13 guide ( under .223 + .308) for recommended autoloader powders.
