Are there any current burn rate charts out there ?
Everything I can find is either brand specific or ancient history..
It would be nice to find a comparison of the current powders on the market..
Fact is the relative powder burn rate varies a bit by cartridge and even bullet weight so there's no absolute scale possible. The lists give no sense of the magnitude of the "gap" from powder to powder either.
Look at BL-C(2) - it varies a lot from list to list, more than any other powder IMO.
Thanks for all the input fellas, I was wondering where RL33 fit in the chart but it doesn't show.
I guess it's just a bit too new but I think it's between H50BMG and US869.

In the 338 Lapua Magnum, RL33 fits about where H870 sits. I have found H50BMG and US869 to have almost the same Burn Rate, and to be a fair bit slower than H870.
Yes, I have used US869 in both 50 BMG and 338 Lapua Imp. cartridges, both shot well with it.
Now I'm looking to try the RL 33 in my 28 Nosler with 160 and 175 gr. bullets, the only available info is from Nosler of course.
