Powder choice for 300 win mag

I am looking for suggestions on a good powder for a 300 win mag shooting 180-190 gr led type bullets.

I've got a supply of IMR4831 but wondering if there are some better options out there.

H1000 is a good powder for the 300

I always try to use temperature stable powders. I’m currently using H4831.

Hard to be H4831SC but Vit N560 does. Both very temp stable. H1000 works well to. Alliant powders work very well but are not as temp stable as the Hodgdon or Vit powders are.

For 300 WM I use IMR4831 or 4350.

Your 4831 is an excellent powder. I would try that, first.

All the powders mentioned so far will work, but only testing some of them will tell you which is best in your loads for your guns. I too have settled on H1000.

Don't do it! you will end up like everyone above and have 9 different powders that are all close in burning rate. Imr4831 will work, you have some, yes it might give up a "little" in fps or group size. Don't over think it, just try what you have, you might be surprised.
Should add I have all the powders mentioned above and use H-1000 the most.
