Is there a manufacturer of Cast Lead bullets that powder coats their bullets rather than lubes them? I have had a problem in the past running heavily lubed bullets through my Dillon. Resulting in frequently removing dies to clean out the excess lube trapped in the dies. There are many sources in the US but they can't export.

You can powder coat the bullets yourself. Not hard to do, lots of info available.
To remove lube from cast bullets, I use acetone. Dump the bullets in acetone, shake for some time and drain the acetone into another container through a strainer.

Get Bruce to cast up a bunch of "unlubed" bullets for you, I have PC'ed quite a few of his after boiling the wax off first. boiling the wax off takes way more time than the actual PC process. Prob. wouldnt take much more than an hr to pc a tub of unlubed boolits.
I've been waiting for someone in Canada to produce a decent coated projectile. I got excited when I heard Xmetal was going to manufacture Hi-Tek coated projectiles. Unfortunately I've read less than stellar reviews about their product (misshaped projectiles, uneven coating, weights varying as much as 5gr). Also, coated projectiles are supposed to be cheap, that's why so many American's shoot them (plus it takes less powder to get them moving). Of course up here they're being sold for the same price, if not more, than the most popular plated option (CamPro). I don't cast and I have no interest in civil war reenactment (lubed lead), so personally I see no reason whatsoever to shoot anything other than CamPro.

Just to damn bad we live as far apart as we do as I already have all the rig'n needed to Pc a bunch in a hurry...I could think of worse ways to spend an afternoon with a couple of sarsaparillas & good company.

Powder coated bullets are the new wave!
No lube means none left in your dies, in your loading bins or on your target. PC means no lube to burn & smoke. Easy on barrels too, PC bullets totally encapsulate the lead & even the base. Plus there is no lead vaporization as the PC base remains intact.

The only 2017 pricing I could find for JTT projectiles was posted was posted on the IPSC ALberta forum.

Don't shoot 9mm. I do shoot 40 and its $115 for 180 Grains for 1k.
Its 130 for Campro plus shipping thats close to 150 dollars per 1k. I have also had some problems with feeding certain bullets with thicker ogive.

I don't pay for shipping which is why I choose CamPro. Several dealers will ship for free on bulk orders (Canada Ammo [$200], Western Metal [$300], Firearms Outlet Canada [$500], and Tenda [$600]).
I'm surprised the ogive is giving you a problem, what do you shoot?
