Strolling through the aisles at princess auto and spied the powder and decided to grab a bottle. Got home powder coated a few boolits for the Brit. Up until now the only half accurate loads I could come up with were full house using h4895 and a sized .314 gas checked bullet from a 160 gr lee mold. The bore slugs at .314 so I'd assume the full load got sufficient obturation, anything loaded lighter key holed, hit the dirt etc. Loaded my powder coated bullets with 26 gr of h4895. At 100 yds all 10 hit a paper plate in about a 5 in circle. I also loaded Alox lubed non pc with the same charge as a control and hit the plate with two. I checked and ran the pc bullets through the .314 sizing die as well. For such little work and expense powder coating is well worth the extra effort. I was about to open up both my mold and sizing die but now see no need. Gonna try pc on my other cast bullets now. Rock on nutters!

I was amazed at the groupings after PCing my boolits. I am hooked no more smached up gooey seating dies, well not as much.
I have been thinking of the same, anneling some and shooting them. I was also amazed at the difference of PCED boolits compared to water quenched. The best benifit was size increase with out bumping or beagling. I have found a new appreciation for the Lee 185br and Lyman 314299.
Be well
