Powder Coating

Powder coating is "lubing" a lead cast bullet with a layer of "paint" in order to avoid leading the barrel.
I personally tried it and it works, but the process of coating takes forever (for me) compared with classic lube/size the bullet using a specialized press. Some people love it some not so.
Try it and see for yourself. If you won't like it at least you'll have fun playing with colored powder and playing a new game.

How does it take forever? Takes me 30-40 seconds to get the bullets coated, about 5 min to pick 100 bullets out of the container and 10 min to bake.

Use the shake and bake method, only delay is waiting for baking.

I don't like the results when I cluster them all together inside the oven, when the bullets are laying on the side and touch each other. So I sit them one by one on aluminium foil and the results are perfect coated bullets. But with this method it takes forever.
I will see how the Hi-Tek method works and if I'm happy I will stay with it.
Powder coating method works and I do not have any leading with few calibers and various guns but they make the bullets fat and going through the sizer is not a really pleasant experience. I always have to use a bit of lube to make them slide smooth through the sizing die.
Overall I'm happy with the powder coating method but I can't say I'm thrilled.
