I like Reloader 19 in my '06. It gives good velocity and good accuracy out of my particular rifle.

Another vote for IMR 4350, I have 2 loads that shoot great. 165's and 180's
57grns seems to be a very common number, but as usual work your way up to that, it is max load in some cases.

It depends, if you are using an autoloader then a faster powder like 4895. Your options are much greater if you use something else.

There is lots of choices, I say IMT4064 is one of the better one and also I like H4350.

30-06 Powder

IMR-4350 works well with 180gr. bullets. RL-22 with 190gr. Hornady SPBT in a Tikka bolt gun. H-4895 in the Garand.

What bullet weights are you wanting to use?
The 30-06 is so versatile that no one powder can cover all the bases.

With 150 grain bullets IMR 4064 is great.

With 180s IMR 4350 it the "go-to" powder with H4350 coming in a close second.

With 200 grain and heavier bullets IMR 4831 or RL 22 is hard to beat.

H4350 is my usual powder, Varget or RL15 with light bullets, H4831sc with heavies

And another vote for IMR 4350. I've found it to work well in quite a number of calibers, including the '06.
