Hi All. I was wondering if anybody has had experience handloading .375 Weatherby Magnum. I have done extensive research on the Web and come up with minimal results for load data. It seems the most common powder for this load is IMR4350 or H4350. Although I have also noticed that Norma makes a suitable powder.

Does anybody have any experience or suggestions for a powder?

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Generally you look for the slowest powder that will achieve your desired velocity, will stay within pressure limits, and fill the case. Based on Hodgdon data, that suggests H4831 as first choice, and H4350 as second choice.

I used IMR 4350 in my rechambered ZKK602 for years with both 270 and 300 gr Partitions. Accurate and plenty of velocity out of the factory 26" barrel. The 270s at 3000 fps shoot as flat as 300 mags, and 300s at over 2800 are about the same as the 30-06.

Both loads were devastating on big game, not much fun to shoot off the bench, but reasonable in the field.
