Powder prices from a bygone era

Think Yeager's maybe was where I bought the Nos Solid base from. There was a store along the highway going south from Sumas I bought brass and a bunch of other stuff from, shut down now, got busted for exporting stuff they shouldn't have, selling to people they shouldn't have sold to, went to jail over it. Too bad, was a good store. There was another one had a collection of Win, Ballards and pre1900 style guns, two rows of them above the regular gun racks, that went around 3 sides of the store, and one of the guys there said he had a warehouse full of more of them, he had to inventory it every year, was a number above 10k pcs in there. Did a tour from Sumas to Seattle a couple of times checking out stores Came back to Cda Customs once, told them I had no clue what I'd bought in total, but I knew it was a lot more than 500.00, he just said I hope you have all the receipts.

Big price jump on everything after covid. Shutting down the economy for a month wasn't nearly as clever and painless as it was supposed to be. Component prices doubled, if you can find it.

well I didn't get in to reloading till the early '00s

powder was around $35/lb and primers $40/thousand

how things have changed.

but I did get a 8Lb jug of H380 when WSS shut down for $230. I just opened that up a few weeks ago.
