Powder prices?

What are you fine folks paying for smokless powder in your part of the world?

Can you buy it in the states and take it across the border?
 
I usually use Hodgdon powders, can find them for about $22-26 per pound locally. Less if you buy in bulk 8lb containers. I think I paid $160 for my last 8lb container of Titegroup. Some of the VV powders are a bit more expensive, usually $60-70 for two pounds, but it is very clean burning and among the best on the market.

Powder, like all reloading components are regulated and cannot be legally exported out of the US without proper export documents.

SIR in Wpg sells HS-6 for about $25 per pound, prices are near the same for the entire lineup of Hodgdon powders at Wholesale Sports. The local gunshops in Brandon, MB have Winchester Powders for under $30 a pound. Check around there are deals to be had, however once you start to order it, shipping charges and Hazmat fees start to eat into your savings.
 
local is about $35 a lb

I buy from Higginsons though, when others go in for a big order :) ends up being $26 a lb or so

Another vote for Higginson; if you get enough people together to buy a 21 lb order (can be mixed types), shipping is included, except for the $15 Hazmat fee that Loomis charges. Still far cheaper than anything else that I have found.
