I’ve seen BR guys chuck cleaning rods in a drill to brush a bore.Twisting anything in the bore of a rifle is not a good thing... hard debris can damage the rifling
I roughly measure the case on mine and landmark something like the middle of the bolt handle to the neck/freebore area and put one size bigger brush up there until I think I’m in the neck/freebore area and turn it by hand with thorroclean. Rinse and repeat until you stop getting carbon.
