Wondering if I need to buy a new scale for blackpowder, I have a digital scale from college that is accurate to .1grams or 1.5gr only measures in grams so will need to do the conversion. Will be loading up blackhorn 209 in 80-120gr. Will this work for hunting purposes? Thanks.

Black powder, and it's replacements, are measured by volume, not by wheight. Buy youreself a blackpowder powder measure. They are verey cheap, so get one.

Thanks for the reply, I've always used 777 pellets, 50grains each and the blackhorn says to measure in grains 80-120gr, an article on the subject, guess it will be close enough to measure
