Powder scale

I have the Dillon D-Terminator scale, have had it for 6 years now, had to replace it once just after I got it due to a power surge, not the scales fault, but Dillon replaced it no question, had me a new one in 3 days. It is a few $$$ but certainly worth the money in my opinion.

I've been looking at the Lyman. Which modle is recomended?

I have the le-300. It has treated me very well over the years, although lately I have been dabbling with heavier bullets in some calibers and I wish I had the next model up as it only goes to 300grs. As far as a powder scale, I couldn't ask for anything more.

I have teh Dillon D-terminator as well, it works well but doesn't hold zero all that well as I go it gradually goes a few tenths of a grain out.

The best deal by far is a digital scale on ebay item 5030188484 with an accuracy of 0.1grain for a total of less than $35 total delivered. I've find it very good as well as other reloaders who have one.

Hmm, might have to get one and see how it performs.

The lower end electronic scales are great for measuring bullets , cases and other sundry items . When it comes to powder in my experience they are inconsistant due to not being sensitive enough.Buy a balance beam scale.rcbs 1010 is a good one.

I wouldn't trust an $11 electronic "jewellery" scale to weigh powder charges either.:)

I will be going with the Redding scale. Just seems the right thing to do
Primo choice, Redding is second to none........of course the other major brands like RCBS, Lyman, etc. make fine equipment also.
I still like the gravimetric balance beam scales for reloading work, the electronic load cell scales hold a bit of an edge in the speed and convienince area.
