Powder Shortage? IMR-4895

Hey guys, I had reallly hard times to find some IMR-4895!! Same with nosler bullets Bal. tips ine .308 165gr, impossible to find!! For the bullets, I still can take the more expensive accubong in the same weight, It appears too do exacly the same in my rifle... But i definitely can't change the powder without re-doing a receipe test again!

Am I the only one with powder supply problems?

Had to look at the date to make sure you didn't post this several years ago, haha!

I am finally seeing powder I have been looking for forever. End of the shortage that's been ongoing for a few years? Perhaps. Still would love to find WST for my favourite clay crushing load.

Edit: just to be helpful, looked at a few websites. Carried at Budget Shooter Supply (1lb and 8lb in stock)

Last year I pick one up every month...had to stop as I had no more room to put the stuff. Stil see it everywhere

Seems a big powder shipment just came in a while ago, search abit as I've seen it at some retailers recently, even Canadian Tire has it.

Sometimes components are a real hit and miss. I'm always on the lookout and pick stuff up as i go, and hopefully before I need it. I always inquire what they have in the gun shops and often have a good look when at gun shows.


If you wait until you need it, its often unlikely to find it.

I think that most people that feel there is a shortage now are just afraid to pay shipping, you should be able to find what you need, you'll just have to pay for shipping.
