Stuff is out there but one has to be creative .. I saw the writing on the wall before the crunch and with the exception of surplus yellow box norc .223 for a rifle I did not own in 2012 I was all set for my needs.
Had a friend traveling to an out of the way Canadian Tire this weekend and low and behold they had six federal bulk 525 copper washed 22lr on the web site, and surprise, they were there. If you need some , all you have to do is Drive to Sydney NS, take a Marine Atlantic ferry to Newfoundland and stop at the Canadian Tire in Channel Port au Basque

. I only needed two boxes to replace my summer 22lr plinking. Was hard to cough up +$30 per box to replace ammo I bought at -$18.
I am retired so have time to search the net and have a phone package, feel sorry for the working guy trying to put in an unplanned weekend with his kid. When I saw our US brethren paying $60 for 100 CCI. 22 lr in 2012 when they wanted more than their local supplier would allow them in a week, I new that could drive up prices here, so I got prepared two years ago.
So do I have more ammo than I will shoot this year .. Yes, do I have powder projectiles and primers to meet my future needs sure , am I a hoarder or a planner, I just think I am cheap
Hang in there if you are a online shopper as SFRC must be due for a shipment soon .. Good prices fast cheap shipping, and their shelves have been bare for almost a year .. Will they get Alliant? .. most likely not, but they will get something ..
