Powder storage

...so I just ordered 3 7lb lots of powder from Higginsons They haven't arrived yet, but I assume the powder will be packaged in poly bags inside cardboard boxes. I'd rather pour it into smaller handier containers for storage and loading. I don't have many empty 1lb bottles of powder, up till now I've been (foolishly) throwing the empties away. So my question to all you folks is what would be an appropriate container for storing all this powder? Does anyone know where I may go to obtain some empty 1lb powder jugs?
