Powder supplier in western canada?

WHERE in western canda is there a powder supplier.. (seems the regular stores are short agin) as i just inquired about some from the east for a 8 lb jug @208.00 and shipping is 75.00 extra that 1/3 the cost .. a bit steep!:mad:

looking for actual powder distributer... thks
 
Hummason is 120 bucks shipping up to 400 lbs.

This IMO is the BEST option if a bunch of Calgary or surround areas can get together.

There are not any powder dist. in Western Canada. There is one wholsale Dist. called Bigrock that stocks inventory for your local gun shop, and doesn't sell to the public. So Hummanson and Higginsons are your only choices outside your local gun shop. FS
 
Don't know about shipping costs, but Jo Brook had plenty of Titegroup and at least one keg of CFE223 a few weeks back when I was there.
 
Not all powder distributors advertise on here. However there is a huge shortage across the country. Everyone is getting a little bit and that is it.
 
I used hummason for a group buy to Winnipeg last year. $120 shipping

its only worth it if you have about 30 lbs or more of power for the group.

I find hummason's prices lower than anyone else so if you have a large order the savings offset the shipping

i have many inquires about group buy here is what needs to be done: GOAL IS TO PURCHASE AT LEAST 50LBS OF VARIOUS POWDER TO AVOID SHIPPING COSTS;
1. were buying from higginson inc . ont . shipping frees are free up to 21 lbs, but there is a hazmat fee of 25.00 ( will be divided equally to the group buy) with loomis .. that is the way they ship! check thier web site
2. WHILE at web site find your powder, min powder purchase will be 8lbs .. they list 7 pounds if they repack. (some are not properly listed) ask them all the question you have and discuss your concern with them. get a buddy to go in halves with you if needed.
3. GET A PRICE for POWDER ONLY + gst, enclose and PM me with your requests. i will compile a group when we hit 50 lbs or so , i will notify each with the email you provide.
4. once you get notice you will have 2days to complete payment to me.keep your receipts. Method of payment WILL be EMT only.
5. i will have powder delivered to my work, as not to miss delivery.
6 once received, emails forward to arrange pickup.
7. Who is this open to CGN's members within calgary, Lethbridge. Note* i will not deliver to your house or outside Calgary, You are responsible for pickup or extra shipping(plain wrapper)
7 If any questions PM , we dont need an open discussion here

BTW i have H50BMG and Barnes bullets for sale check EE

Why not use Hummason, seems there are more people looking for Powders that they sell. Shipping from Higgansons isn't that bad anyway.
