Powders and Dillion 650

I am starting to do my research on Dillion 650 presses and had a question on what powders people like to use with it. For the last 4 years all I have used is unique powder on a single stage press as I was gift quite a bit of it. I have only a pound or so left and want to start trying other powders that would work well with the Dillion 650. I load 45 acp 230 gr lead and cmj, 44 mag 250 gr Lswc Keith style bullet and .357 168gr Lswc Keith style bullet. I also will be starting to load for 9mm 124 gr match grade bullet from frontier. Any suggestions on powder that would work with all 4 as unique did and that would meter well in the Dillion would be greatly appreciated.

I use W231,Red Dot and Titegroup in my Dillon 650. They all meter very well, don't reload 44 or 9 so I cant help you there.

I've used W231 for 15 years because that always is readily available for me.For 9mm I use 4.3 grains for 115 or 121 grain bullets and it works for me.

Universal Clays is functionally similar to Unique, but is cleaner burning and meters better. It might be impossible to find right now, though.

I use Unique, TiteGroup, 3N37, Bullseye through my Dillon powder measure and do not have metering problems.

I use unique through a RCBS powder throwing and only get about .03 of a grain variance.

This one is even worse than the usual general shortage. The factory in Australia had a fire, which interrupted production. It is supposed to be back in production, so we might eventually see more.

I use Titegroup, Longshot, H110, W231/HP38, CFE Pistol, Bullseye, HS-6, IMR XBR 8208 and W748 through my XL650's powder drop with zero issues. Any of the spherical powders and short grain stick will meter well. For Rifle (other than W748 and XBR 8208), I prefer to manually drop through an RCBS and trickle up.

I was reading on the S&W forum that I guy had corrosion and Titegroup powder bond to his RCBS powder thrower when he left the powder in. When loading multiple calibers do people leave powder in the thrower?

Titegroup, H110, 2400 all meter great.
Unique, Powerpistol meter ok. They seem to meter better after they sat in the powder hopper overnight.

I return any unused powder to its factory canister/bottle/keg at the end of a reloading session. Prevents the powder from absorbing moisture from the air and thus keeps relative humidity levels of the powder as consistent as possible. It also eliminates the possibility of damp powder caking up inside the powder measure and/or eliminates potential for powder mix-ups.
