Powders that work- 50 BMG

I have a buddy who thinks he can get me powder in bulk (8lbs at a time) but needs to know what I want/need. So he can see what is available to him.

I've used H50 BMG and have some Accurate 8700, My friend has H5010 and 869?
What are good powders that you,ve tried or use that would work with the Big 50?
any help would be appreciated,

I use H50BMG and US869 ALOT with great results.
5010 is ancient and be careful as it degraded quickly I would NOT recommend that 1. I have had no problems getting either the H50 or the US869.

I'll research the H50BMG. When i last bought some the guy at the counter had said he thought the supply was going to dry up, as the U.S. was stopping shipments of stuff that was argueably war materials.
And that they would stop anything that said 50 BMG on it. The primers are listed as arsenal primers so not subject to be stopped, that's why he had suggested the accurate 8700.

I have used a lot of 5010 in the past, still have a couple of pounds left. It worked well. I've not seen any deterioration problems with it, to date. FWIW. - dan

Call higginsons powder and see what they have in stock. 869 looks like it should be a winner
