Hello, guys I am new to hand guns and match events. I live in the Montreal region and want to start shooting some action events. I have my M&P 9mm and my holster is on its way, along with my belt and some other items. I don’t have ton’s on money so I have been looking into PPC duty class. Dose any know if there are courses offered from time to time. I am even willing to travel to the border area of Ontario. And how do ATT work for these types of events?

come to st-Jacques

thanks for the info, but i shoot at l'acadie and they are really anti holster and ppc from what i can tell, in fact i have been told there is a rule of 1 shot per second

the way i see your rig you, won<t be happy in PPC
you should consider IPSC your rig is perfect for PRODUCTION
i<ll be glad to show you the club in st-jacques you are more than welcome to shoot 6 10 rounds per second and there<s a holster (ipsc) day
This club is one of the best place to learn IPSC cause there is a lot of stuff available for training and most but not least Knowledge

and we will do a Black Badge course (IPSC) on march 29 if you are interested PM me or email philproulx@msn.com

l'Acadie will be expanding pistol range this summer.
I have discussed giving a "holster course" with the boss. I just need to fit it in to my schedule.
Personnally, I will NOT shoot next to someone who has NOT been qualified with a holster. I have a thing about getting shot!
As for PPC, again, looking into it. we would have to redesign the shooting stations as the "windows" are too narrow for PPC shooting. But it is something we are interested in persuing.

Come and talk to me on a Sunday, I am usually in the back and sometimes I am the RO on the pistol range.

If you are interested in a volonteer position to install PPC at the club, step up to the plate!

Do they have matches at CRAFM/CTM? I know they have practice nites. They hold matches regularily at CTVSP.

Both places you need to be a member to partake in the practices but you can get an invite for the matches. :)
