well after reading about 50 percent of the posts on here lol im thinking IDPA might be the way to go ATM, thanks for all the help guys 
and as advised by a member ive contacted the Oshawa marksmen club about going out to watch a match.

Sorry it's actually next Friday! This week it was Thursday and I missed it! Took the week off and got my dates all screwed up.

LOL..For some reason I thought this past Thursday was the 2nd Thursday of the month, then I thought it wasn't, then I thought it was, then I confirmed for sure it wasn't!
