Practic hunting test

Good day all . I have nephew interested in hunting and had been coming out with me and his dad this year. He is 12 and want to take his courses ,but he has been asking if there are any practice tests , like they have for the boating coarse.

So I am throwing it out to the masses. Does any one know of a "practice hunting test"

Around here if you can hit a running deer at 150 yards your good to go.

I'd say if he's been out a bunch and goes to take the test he'll be fine. Most of it was about gun safety from what I recall anyways. you could always pick up the book they give out in class and he could read then challenge the test. Although I was under the impression (could be totally wrong) that for the hunters ed you had to take the course i.e. not able to just challenge the test.
