I had experimented with this stuff before. That’s why I made a 25 shot group (to foul in and figure out how/ where it shoots).
Trying to find a good ‘practice ammunition’ while I try to find SK Rifle Match somewhere (which shoots like a hot damn in my rifle)
3/4” dots, 50 yards. I take responsibility for half the flyers (where I missed first shot)

My TacSol modded 10/22 also shoots SK Rifle Match exceptionally well. I just tried some CCI Standard Velocity yesterday and it shot excellent - might be worth a try in your rifle.

I want to play more with RWS ammo.
So far I was impressed with the consistency of the RWS SemiAuto. I did not have a chance to put my hands on any other RWS ammo.

The problem with CCI SV for me in my 457 is that I have some occasional flyers that I don't see with other ammo.

What kind on CZ 457 do you have? Have a LH 457 coming in the mail so good to see what kind of ammo they like.

jahnj has a point . . . if you look at the 'spread' from R to L and Up - Down, you are shooting ca 1.5" + groups. Or consider if you're shooting at an ARA-type target you would have a lot 7-8s (if they score that way). JAIA 'invented' shooting a "grid" (check out RFC and other forums if you haven't heard of it) and that gives you a look at your accuracy. Once you have that defined, you can work on groups.
With my V-MTR or 455 or B22, I shoot at dots for practice but I shoot groups of 5x. But I often put small pen-marks for 'center' on the 3/4" Dollarstore dots. Using my 24x or 34x scopes I can see them clearly. As for ammo, I generally use CCI-SV for practice, but also 'old Fed SV 40g LRN' - I got a deal when LGS closed, ca $3/box/50s. Pretty accurate but ca 5-ish% fliers. And for 'rapid-fire' practice I take cat-food can lids with the pull-tabs tiesd onto a string between target stands. "Reactive" to no end
PS - I've tried a couple Sub brands and they're so slow I need a completely different hold/dialing. And I've found ca 10% FTF with Fed Automatch so I get really PO'd trying to shoot it, even in my Sav-64s. I can't find SK-RM anywhere, either. And I can't afford the High-end stuff, ca $15 is my limit.

Mine is the cZ457 ‘Pro Varmint’. Mine loves SK Rifle match (Red box - $14-$16/ box). 1/2” (or less) groups at 50m. In my understanding, the match chambers and actions all love SK rifle match.

Yes, I 'had' a brick of RM but it blew away. Also had a brick+ of SK+ and it's down to the last 200. I bought a couple K of CCI-SV to 'get me by' and maybe RM will be available next Spring?? I was shooting in the .30-400s with it and the CCI-SV is 'close' but Not The Same ! Also I'm trying some Eley Club & Sport and getting good results, just a box so far but the price is comparable to SKs.

Also, the SK+ did almost as well as the SK-RM, but it's also in short supply. I haven't found any avail online. I've got lots of others to test, just got a brick of Fed Gold Metal 711b but no good weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be +3 and LOW breeze, ca 10-15klik. That's as food as it'll get for this year. Yesterday it was +7-8 but the wind was 15 with gusts to 25-ish AND no Sun. NO Good for .22s !! Luckily I took my .223 and SKS, BUT THE 'BREEZE' even moved my .223 so it was short range Day. My .223 was MOA at 100 and the SKS was 2-3" at 25 and 6-8" at 50. Ended up being a short Day, only a couple hours.

I tried a couple boxes of Eley Biathlon Round Nose at someone else’s suggestion when someone had them on sale for $10/box. Also a nice ammunition. But, I like to shoot a lot, so I’ll go CCI SVfor the next round.
