Praise for Higginson's powder's

I could'nt find 35gr/.224 vmax for my hornet or .321 cal bullets for my .32 win special anywhere. Couple of folks recommended Higginson's so I gave them a call last week. They had the bullets in stock and shipped them fast. I had them in a few days.
Excellent service with the current shortages!
 
They are great people to deal with. I get very good service there. I have a few "packaging" issues I need to deal with because of bulk orders, but that's MY problem not theirs.

Can't say anything but good about them! We are fortunate to have such a vendor in Canada.
 
going down tomorrow, ill be sure to tell what is thought about his buisness. personally, id rather drive an hour and get service with a brain and a smile than hear a baron employee say, well its whatever you think is better. or we dont have that.
 
Some of us here were dealing with them even before they were Ammomart. Anyone else remember XELEX? :)

They are truly one of the best, most customer oriented, companies in Canada.

I'm glad you guys have something nice to say about Higginsons. I don't. I will never order from them again. The first time I ordered I waited 2 1/2 months. I thought: oh well, kaka happens so I ordered again last April. So far I've had nothing but a runaround and had to buy more powder locally. Now I've been told that it will be shipped this week or MAYBE next week. Count me out after this. Absolutely terrible customer service. Ten months is ridiculous. Please don't tell me about how great your experience with them was. Those stories were why I dealt with them in the first place. I'm not interested anymore. I just want the powder I ordered AND paid for 10 months ago. Then I want no further dealings with such a screwed up outfit.It's not worth the aggravation.
 
personally, i would really like to see you run a buisness in the manner that they do. with the economy and the political situation in northamerica, more particularly the usa being the way it is, not everything is avalable. im sorry you had a poor experience with higgs, but as stated in the title of this thread, PRAISE FOR HIGGINSONS POWDERS, not #### on them because you dont understand the world as it is today. you know what i do when i need somthing? i march my ass down to the store and buy it. i dont just sit at my computer and wait for somone to knock on my door with what i want. moral of this story? if you want somthing NOW, get up and get it yourself. good day to you sir!

Did Tom die recently, or was he a third generation Higginson? When I started shopping there two years ago there were two men, father and son; I never caught their names. Last few times I stopped by I was served by the son, but I didn't think anything of it... If Tom was indeed the older gentleman behind the counter I'll be sad to learn of his passing.
 
That sucks about not getting your powder for 10 months.

I just got my first order from them a couple days ago and will set up another bulk order when i get low again for our club. I though they were good and helpful when they did not have the items i was after.

no problems yet so i'm happy they'll get another chance from me
 
Andrew does a great job. He does the best he can with what he gets from his suppliers. He can't ship what he doesn't have. Alway had nothing but a great experience with them.

You obviously lack comprehension of what you read. Note that I gave them two chances. They took my money ten months ago and have not delivered as promised, nor have I had any coherent explanation.
As it happens I have run my own business. Quite successfully I may add.
I will not praise those who have wronged me. Nor do I suffer fools gladly.
Potential customers need to know that all is not perfect in Higginson Land.
