Having had many "Pre" and "Post" 1894's and Model 94's apart over the years, I can atest to the quality of the early manufactured rifles. Machining beats stamping in lasting ability.
Maybe assembeled in Canada??
What planet have you been living on?
No where is there any information of any changes in the 1963 model 1894 vs. 1964 model. Not a single change of any part has ever been noted....Oh, Chuck Hawks says it's so, so it must be, he even edited Wikipedia just to "prove" it.
