Before I start my quest bylooking for a stock set for a pre64 Winchester 94... (starting a WTB ad)
I'd like to ask everyone "Are they common?"
What would be a good fair price to pay?

Gun shows coming up, guess I could wait till then and look around.
But prices at shows seem a tad more than say finding something on EE.
TIA

Just buy a new set from Boyd's I n South Dakota you will get good wood and not used wood prices are good:)

Not a bad idea. I bought a Boyds Prairie Hunter for my Mauser in Jan. Very nice.
I don't mind buying new. Even looking at the Brownells set they have (unfinished) for for $83.00 plus shipping.
WOOD PLUS - WINCHESTER 94 PRE-'64 STOCK SET (UNFINISHED)

Just thought if I could find something that was more traditional from that era it would be nice.
But I have no clue how available a set would be.

That's what I would buy. I had good luck with my Wood Plus Mauser 98 stock. It too was unfinished and only took ,I or work to finish off.
