Hey everybody, I'm rebuilding my dad's first rifle and hoping I can get lucky with this question. This rifle is a pre 66 cil 950. It has an ejector mounted to the rear of the cartridge box(blind). Unfortunately I lost the ejector...

Is there anyone out there that has this rifle that can take pictures and possibly dimension of this? I have the ability to machine one as well.

Thanks in advance,
Restoule.

I can send you one.

Are you talking about the pin and spring that goes into the face of the bolt?

It is a single shot rifle. I still use some of those 950Ts. It was standard procedure to remove the ejector so that the empty case would stay on the loading tray. We save our brass, so this was the easy way to put the empty back in the box, rather than spraying them around.

Why would you want an ejector on a single shot?

No, it's the ejector that's mounted on the rear of the mag box. There are no pictures of it online. On the pre 66 950s there was no ejector on the bolt face.

I have the 950. It holds four rounds in the blind mag.
There was also the 950c, and 950t. C being hinged floorplate and T being single shot.

Did you figure out something? I just got my hands on a 1959 Savage 110L - I can shoot a picture for you if you're still in need. Drop me a PM.

I wish I had seen this post earlier - could have gave one to you. The top was ground down and the bolt head replaced but this part is easily duplicated. The ejector holder needs to be on the mag with the ejector in it or the mag assembly won't stay on the action without it. If the ejector wasn't needed, I would have thrown it in a bin. Do you have the spring? If you need help, pm me for my number.

Hold on there,...I just may have one in my parts bin. I have a pre 66, but ended up modifying it to utilize modern mags. I still have the magnum bolt head as well from that rifle. These came with a C clip ejector. I'll PM if I find it Restoule.
Elky…

Yes, I do have one of those ejector pins. PM sent.
