Pre 81 BLR mag, wing broken off?

Hi there
Came from a buddies house who hasn’t been able to use his BLR in years,
Looks like his only mag has one of the front wings broken off, doesn’t feed
I thought no problem I’ll get him a new one, I was mistaken, $400 wow
Any chance this can be welded up by someone and be reliable,

You can get an inverter welder from Princess auto for chump change and do it yourself with a little practice.

Make a wing like the other side and weld it.
That should be a simple for any experienced welder and you have nothing to loose.

why not get someone to make an stl file so you can get it 3d printed?
