Pre and Post 64 30-30

i know this is a dumb question but i dont know the answer. What is the difference between a pre and a post 64 winchester 30-30

Machined parts on pre 64, stamped parts on post 64. More or less, winchester did everything they could in 1964 to make the model 94 cheaper to produce, which resulted in a crappier gun.

Pre-64's tend to be older.

And if you have one thats in good shape, take care of it because they're starting to gain value a bit. I think.
