got to be only days away from stage 4 lock downs goin on across the country, my state is behind in regards to allowing hunting or fishing even solo forms of, even in form of food gathering, so there is upraor at present , hopefully over turned in days.
i snuck out this morning onto some private to glass up some deer, seen a decent buck on neughbours place and continued into the block and pulled up for a sneek up the gulley before the bush line, i spooked a doe an fawn with my vehicle and then walked up that general direction, about half hour after first light a buck began grunting above me, i didnt stuff around an got in on the buck in the bush, closed in to 30m or so and seen it wasnt bad for the area and a shot presented while he was pushing away a spike deer, an chasen a doe at the same time.
not sure what the future holds this year , esp for the timing of the rut, but i made the most of it so far!
