X2, this is my blued bolt carrier after a few hundred rounds.

Any wear will be just the same as the orginal bolt carrier would take.
 
My two prized sub-3 inch (at 100 metres using iron sights) Russian shooters are in the mail for a facelift. Yeah, some might call it blasphemy, but I have a mint unfired, unissued, unrefurbished example to coddle and look at when the mood strikes. One is also getting its stock arma-coated. I will post high res pics when they arrive. :sniper:w:h:
