Hey all I am just testing the waters here I have a beautiful 1916 prewar commercial broomhandled mauser all matching and in perfect working order I have a repro shoulder stock teak it looks like??? and repro 1916 holster to go along with it, just seeing if something like this would spark interest and if it ended up on the EE and if so what i should be asking for it, if i listed it I would want to list it to sell but for a fair price as well??

Looks to be in pretty good shape... Original finish?

Too bad the stock and holster are repro.

I'm guessing based on listings I've seen go, but I think it would sell quickly at $2000 or so.

Man i had a beautiful 1905 that looked identical to that, all matching and it went for $2600. Now i have an all mis-matched beater for a restoration piece to make into a shooter. One thing though, once you sell it you'll just keep thinking about it until you buy another one.

yeah thats kinda what i am thinking it is such a unique pistol and i have kicked myself in the arse so many times doing just that but a guy could always use the extra cash that just sleeping in the safe, haha and as far as the finish i can only hazard a guess that its original, when i got it i took it all apart and inspected and cleaned it up and i was scrubbing very old cosmoline type thick grease out of just about every nook and cranny, for a hundred year old pistol it sure doesn't look very used and the bore is minty as well, although i am not sure how much corrosive 7.62 mauser ammo there was on the market in the old days anyways, and you would think if the previous owners were firing the hot 7.62X25 surplus ammo out of it a guy would see way more wear and tear as i have read it shoots it but its way way too hot for the old girl
