How do you guys usually Cerakote a bolt gun? Do you do the whole assembled bolt, parts of it, or none of it? When I look at rifles that have been done by other shops online it seems like they're all over that spectrum and people seem to disagree on whether it's a good idea for clearances etc.

*Edit* The only parts on the bolt we Cerakote generally is the the bolt shroud and handle. Depending on the bolt body tolerance we may or maybe recommend coating them. As for the bolt face, we mask that off and do not coat it. The tolerances are too tight with some custom actions, so coating those surfaces is on a case by case bases. We don't know what other shops do, we can only speak to what we do here at Black Box Customs. I hope that answers your question.
