precision rifle actions in Canada?

Right now I have an unjustifiable fixation on the Bighorn Origin action at Go Big Tactical.
Recently purchased my 2nd one and trying for a 3rd one before long...
 
Yep. I’d go impact. Have played with a defiance. Own a bighorn tl3 and now also an impact from insite. I’d go impact especially the long action now being available.
 
I have a Defiance Deviant Tactical and a buddy has a Curtis Vector. Now that I have explored them both side by side and in detail, I would 100% go with the Curtis Vector if I was to build another rifle.

Defiance does a great job producing a nicely manufactured action, but they have not been as innovative as Curtis Vector.

Unfortunately both companies have been poor at highlighting the differences on their web sites and I have not found a good YouTube video that does either. That makes it hard for buyers to evaluate them objectively unless you know someone who has them to see for yourself.

Apparently the terminus ZEUS is a better option than the Curtis. Subtle improvements made by one of the original guys at Curtis. The quick change barrel on the Zeus is very cool
 
anyone here shooting an evo titanium?
looking over insite's inventory the short action is availlable and I'm fighting the urge till I learn a bit more.
Need a winter project and a new precision/hunting rifle is on my mind
 
Insite and real precision shooting keep actions on hand in Alberta. Macbrothers are coming out and may have already with their stainless action. So many choices out there...
 
Alberta Tactical Rifle manufactures a wonderful action. I have a few and have nothing but good to say about their quality of both their actions and gunsmithing service in putting together a superb rifle. And they are very knowledgeable nice guys.

Lol, more feedback from a guy with no experience with Curtis at all. Wonder why EM is getting calls to chamber the Terminus actions when Big Horn wont supply pre-fits and spare parts. Curtis has been amazing to deal with and next to no issues. Plus EM carries all the spare parts as needed on wear items.
But ya, buy a Terminus. The direct clone of a Curtis.

I had an Evo Titanium. Wouldn’t recommend it. MacBros hasn’t fixed the issues associated with titanium.
