We have finally firmed up the details for Precision Rifle II.
This course is designed for shooters looking to expand on skills developed in Precision Rifle 1, hunters, competitors, and recreational shooters. The course will focus on making shots from various ‘field’ positions, and positional platforms. Students will have opportunities to learn and practice the following skills in a very supportive learning environment through various drills, exercises, and a combined course of fire;
This course will provide the skills and confidence for shooters to enjoy the sport outside of the typical ‘square’ range, while implementing the TDSA ‘Every Shot Counts’ approach.
The recommended firearm is a scoped bolt action rifle in a short action calibre along with 100-120 rounds of ammunition. (Please contact TDSA for other firearm requests).

We urge students to buy the best ammunition they can for the course. If you are a hunter, please bring the ammunition you will be hunting with. Quality ammunition will ensure you will come away from the course learning the most you can.

- Standing position for long/precise shots.
- Standing position for quick ‘snap’ shots.
- Various sitting and kneeling positions.
- Use of slings for additional support.
- Use of ‘structure’ for support and position
