Precision Shooting in sub-zero temperatures

When I lived in Nunavut, I always kept a long plastic bag in the porch to place my rifle in before bringing it into the warm house. Close it up tight out in the porch, bring the rifle inside, then wait for the rifle & bag to slowly equalize to the warm room temperature. The condensation from the warm air will form on the outside of the bag while the rifle stays dry inside. A very valuable hack to keep condensation from collecting in hard to reach locations inside the rifle's action, barrel and stock bedding areas.
