Precision shooting... Winnipeg Style

I also had a great time at the match. Had a chance to meet lots of friendly people, and also get my a$$ kicked in the wind:D

Thanks to Steve and Ross for the tour of their fantastic shop. Without a doubt they are a first class operation.

And thanks to Les for putting on a top of the line event, everything ran like a swiss watch.

Here is a little video clip of Ian trying to claim Manitoba by rigging a BC flag to the red/green flag pole at 1000yds on Sunday in the hellish winds. :D

Congrats to our own Terry Perkins for topping the FTR class and to Barry P for topping FO!!

I have to throw an honorable mention in there for Dan, "RDGeitz" who was shooting in his FIRST match, using a Savage FTR rifle. He was shooting frikken amazingly well, and then he tells me he is in his first match and shooting a brand new gun!! Well Done Dan!!

Paul, another new shooter came out and shot with a Factory Remmy 700 in 243, and he did extremely well and never failed to hit the paper! That is better than many shooters on day 3! It was a real pleasure metting Dan and Paul and I look forward to shooting with them again.

I brought a BC Flag with me.... My pal Ol' Tom F. had his best side captured on 'film' at 1000 yards.

hehe, had to take a picture of this one. I hope Tom isn't on this board... might lose a new friend for this one.
I'll post the few pictures I took at the event. Nice to meet a few of you here, didn't know cyanide was there... would've been nice to meet you.

Props and congratulations goes out to all competitors and the class winners Terry and Barry. Both are very fine shots and better people.

Trevor

Thanks Ian!!

Thanks for the HM Ian! I really enjoyed myself. Was great shooting with all the different relay groups. I learned so much by talking with and watching all the other seasoned shooters. Am looking forward to much more long range shooting. Just need to learn how to "see the wind" better. Hope to shoot with you again.

Dan

We did meet :)

Here I am in the Vertigo T (horrible picture of me.....but then again I think they all are if I'm not behind the lens)

You moved before I could snap the one of you with your head resting on the rifle.

Freakin' models ;)

I was wondering if you got any of those after I saw that one....that would have been too funny.

My wife said I looked like I was "striking a pose" in one of the other similar pics you had up. :D
