Thanks for the kind words guys. The barrel is a #7 contour from Montana Rifleman and the finish is DuraCoat stainless steel color.

This is my Tikka T3 Tactical. I've shot it twice so far.
Tikka's Muzzle Brake, Weaver Rings, Harris Bi-pod, Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24X40 Scope. Still to come: Butler Creek Scope covers and some good ammo.
I have Tikka's adjustable trigger set to it's lightest setting; 1.5 lbs.
So far with American Eagle 308s, (just for rough sighting in) I shot a 2" group at 200 yds, and I'm pretty sure that I wasn't too steady.
I'm learning with these things - I figure this will certainly out shoot my ability for a long time.

My dads 700LTR .308 we, my wife mom and myself boguht him for his birthday. RIfle was bought from ATR has one of Rick's fantastic trigger jobs and bedding jobs and also added the Badger bolt handle. Scope is Bushnell 3200 10X tactical, MWG base, FA rings and Harris bi-pod.

We have a very similar set-up on our LTR's..Soon to put better optics though & has a NightForce20Moa Rail Base + Tactical Versa-Pod.

Today was a good day... I went out shooting for the first time in a long time

First time out with the 10FPLE (20" choate stocked 308)

With Winchester white box 150 Gr I was putting 5 round groups into about an inch c to c (4 groups 1.08 1.1 .926 and 1.02 ... I was very pleased...

I didn't like the feel of the 180's I was shooting 1.5"groups.. and I had a "flyer" in two groups of 6..

I can only guess how it will be once I get used to the thing and do up my own ammo... This thing will be a tack driver...


On another note. finally got my CAR-15 out and put 2 15 round runs through her... I was very please with this as well.. Standing at 50 yds with the clone ACOG I put 15 rounds into a 2X4 oval... Most rounds were in 2X2 .. bout 2" high and dead center...

And, as an excercise in frugality, the Stevens 200, in 308 with a Leupold M1 knock-off. $500 'sniper' setup. Actually, it's surprisingly accurate. I'm able to shoot 3/8" 3-shot groups all day long:

Here's my little contribution. 223 Savage 10 FPLE with a Barska Varmint 8x32-50 with Mildot reticle. The other is my Mav 88 with a Bushnell Banner 1x4-32 with a Choate stock.
