New .308

this is my latest toy...Savage 10FCP in .308 with an NXS 5.5-22x50mm, loves the Black Hills Match 168gr HPBT, 5rds into .68" @ 100m.

If memory serves, my colour combination was 30% dark tan, 30% light tan and 40% olive drab.

The overall colour of the stock turned out a bit lighter than I expected and the dark tan and light tan blended together more than I wanted but all in all I have very little to complain about. If I could do it over I'd back off on the dark tan by 20% and go 30% light tan, 10% dark tan and 60% olive.

The AI will never be for sale. It may be sporting a new barrel in a different calibre some time soon but will always have a place in my toybox.
 
My AI clone IS COMPLETE!!!

My first precision (sniper) rifle. I wanted to start with a low end rifle... ;)
The project took exactly 12 months, but I'm very happy with the final result.
I got exactly all the parts I wanted (still working on the lens cover though...). The scope was the most difficult part to get.

So here she is weigthed at ~ 18lb!
