Casey at Tactical Ordnance recently assembled my new boltgun, it started life off as a Remington 700 AAC 16" barrel, H&S Precision stock with VBull magazine kit, AAC Brake & Falsh Hider, opted to use a NF 1-4x24 Zero Stop with Mildot, added the oversized body handle and painted it OD Green - in the back ground is a LaRue OBR with 18" barrel...

Finished my Rem 700 conversion. This is the TAC 21 frame, Magpul stock and pistol grip. HiLux 6-24x Scope. Notice I had to put a rail bridge on the frame to get the scope up high enough. The front end wouldnt clear the rail.

I tried a couple cammo patterns, this one I liked the best. Took some time, but the results are worth it (it will piss off the anti dont who dont like "bad scary sniper rifles".)

The muzzle brake is custom made.

You can see the rail bridge clearly. Got it from a new company in BC.

The scope is Leatherwood M1500. It's what they call the ART, as you zoom in, the scope rises to compensate for the bullet drop.

I havnt had her out to the range for zeroing yet. Those who go to the ORA Precision matches will see it in June.

Awesome setup and amazing job with the camo!

Duracoat?

Interesting with that side rail. Any plans to attach anything to that?

I have a small side rail on my JAE stock and am trying to get someone to make me a side mount for my Angle Cosine Indicator.

Thanks. The paint is Kraylon cammo, with one addition. The threads of bright green is RLM 83. My plan for the side rail is to mount my distant charts.

My "walking around" precision rifle. I just need to find a super-lightweight/non-harris-style bipod for those times I feel like shooting prone. Any suggestions?

And a couple of shots from our 1000 yard load testing day. All I can say is those muzzle brakes chew up alot of crap!!

And last but not least I got my new glass (Zeiss conquest 6.5-20x50) on the 308 this week. Forgive the crappy cell phone shots.

:jerkit: That's my new favorite stock, I'm looking at the one with the integral monopod though, maybe in a black & red color scheme though.

WHere'd you pick it up?

Got mine from the Alberta based GRS dealer... you can check the GRS website for someone in your area.

All told with tax and shipping it was under $700CDN. I didn't bother with the 'long range' model you speak of for two reasons. One is looks wonky and too spacey for me, second, after using a monopod for many years, I'm finding this year I'm using a good rear bag instead and actually prefer it. Oh and the LR one is quite a bit more money too.

The only other color combo that tempted me was brown. I don't like the real bright ones for my uses.

What's the deal for bottom metals? Does it fit pretty much anything or is there a need for inleting?

Did you have yours bedded, does it come with pillars? I'm thinking about one of these with a Savage long action for a 7 WSM. Could be a fun project!
