Here's my new toy. Remington 700 VS mounted on a HS Precision PSS DM stock. I'll order up a 3200 10x40 scope for xmas and I hope to put a AICS on it early next year ('cause I want to be just like Skullboy).

Finally finished (well almost) the rebuild of my AICS Rem700.

Here are the specs:

-Rem700 PSS action that was bluedprinted & trued.
-Dlask Arms Corp. Tactical Bolt handle.
-McPhee AMTU Contour 26.5" long Stainless Steel barrel with a 1 in 11.3" twist.Chambered in .308Win.
-Accuracy International AICS chassis.
-Leupold Mark IV one piece base.Base & reciever were drilled & tapped for 8 X 40 screws.
-Badger Ordnance Max-50 rings.
-Leupold Mark IV 16X scope with luminous mildot reticle.
-MWG Anti Cant device.
-Canadian Army C3A1 handstop.
-Harris Bipod.
-Damage Inc. Custom Camo TW CADPAT paint scheme.

The action still has to be bedded in the chassis.I just wanted to get it together for some pics and see how she looked!!

In your Dec. post, I think you may have may have made a small error in the specs. You say drilled and tapped for 6x40 screws. Did you mean 8x40 screws?

yes I ordered from JP direct and got it within 2 weeks.

I put it on for my niece who really wants to get into shooting this year. After shooting .22's she tried the .308 last year for the first time and did really well with it but was a bit shy of the recoil.
I have to say it still felt like a .308 to me though. I love the kick ass tank style brake so for me it's just the look cool factor 8)
