It's such a good little rifle, this was the original intent but out of the box it was so light and accurate I sort of hummed and hawed over putting it in a chassis for ages. The other day I was looking at woox chassis and things like the WA2000 and not wanting to spend like 4k on a whole new rifle I decided it was time to finish this little fella.

I've been mulling it over and think i will pick up the wood kit for my MDT XRS/CZ rifle. Kinda the poor mans woox if you will.
My compact .308 build:
-Mack Brothers action
-Hardy 16" 1:9 carbon-fibre, MTR profile. Threaded with custom thread cap
-Manners MCS-CS carbon shell in Bloodshot pattern with Mini Chassis
-Triggertech Diamond Pro-curve set at 1.75 lbs
-Seekins Precision rings
-Premier 3-15x50 w/ Gen II XR reticle
-AICS mag
-Built by the nice guys at Insite Arms
32.5" long with stock collapsed.
9lbs 3.6oz w/scope but w/o mag
Built to travel to the range (or anywhere else) on my motorcycle

My little .308 is tossing out some good groups. Got a new Heathen brake on it. 5th round flyers be damned!
