I was always told that a Savage 10FP was a great value and I wasn't steered wrong. Very impressed with the accuracy on my latest acquisition. Even out to 300m at my range it makes me look like I know what I am doing.

Those are the rings that came with the scope. Damn 35mm scope tube. Haven't ordered any lower ones yet.

Steyr SSG 04 A1, the review is in the Precision forum. 300Win Mag, hi-cap 8 shot set up, Spuhr scope mount, and Schmidt and Bender 10X42 PMII scope, for that old school feel. If I did it again I would step up in the scope magnification power, but otherwise a nice combination.

I just looked though all 118 pages.... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to have to install a bilge pump by my computer from all the drooling. Here's what I have, nothing special just a Savage Model 11 International Trophy Hunter XP in .223 Rem, with a Weaver Kaspa 3-9x40mm scope, a bi-pod and a Remington shell holder with a little padding underneath. Thanks to this thread I have a idea of what I want to do as far as modifying it.
