An otherr question I have had for quite a while Is there a kit etc to convert a Mod 70 to clip.Like you used to beable to get for a rem?

When I worked at Downsview Park in Toronto, we had world Youth day in 2002 and I was coordinating security for the company with the RCMP and got to meet the ERT team snipers, 2 of them, great guys, they both had the M70 .308 with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10X40 Tactical Mil-Dot, Near base and Leupold Mark 4 rings with Harris BR bipods, rifles were completely built in house. Nice rigs, set in McMillan M40A1 stocks.

I have a Stealth II in 22-250. Shot superbly with factory ammo that I tried to get another in 223 but lost out.

Seems like a waste to modify a great shooter, if most were like mine.
