I use the Remington 870 turkey/predator and #4 buckshot with the provided predator choke with good success. The pistol grip is much more comfortable from a seated position.
I use mostly sxs guns. F/m chokes. #4 buck. Any shotgun that fits you will work
For bears I use a mossberg 535ats rifled barrel with ati 6 position pistol grip
