I know one should practice shooting at various distances, but invariably, do you find yourself returning to a specific distance?
I know I like to shoot at 10 meters most of the time, going out to 25 maybe only 10% of the time. I read an article that indicated something like 56% of law enforcement related shootouts in the US occur within a distance of 5 feet and 94% occur within 10 yards, so I figure that (10) is a pretty good distance to practice at snapping and faster shooting whereas I have to take much more time to hit a small target at 25.
Opinions?
