Cool. The price I was just checking is not bad either. I think we paid just about the same for the X3 at the time

I personally shoot a Benelli SBE II. I like the way the receiver is set up with the barrel being integrated into it, makes cleaning very easy.

What about the benelli m2? If I was happy sticking with 3”

M2 is a great gun and Benelli are making the M1 Super 90 again. About $1200 new.

Ok going into town to shoulder some guns. One I’m checking on is the Beretta A350 Xtrema. Anyone have intel on this gun? Is it a less flashy version of the A400?

I’ll put in another vote for the Super X family. I’ve had 6 SX3s , 1 SX2 and a SX4, so I know a bit about them. I currently have a base model SX3 26” that I have killed many many many birds with and would say it is the best bang for your buck even when they were the latest greates thing. I have a walnut stocked SX4 that is my go to gun for days when it isn’t pouring and It is both light and reliable like the SX3, it has a larger bolt handle and bolt release but internally identical to the SX3. They are made a bit more cheaply than the SX3 though and it is immediately apparent when you pick it up. I like them both and once funds allow I’d like to pick up another SX3 20ga.

I played with a bunch of guns in the store lately in case I need a goose gun. My favourite was the Maxus.
