The thread in the General Firearms discussion inspired me to post this poll...Mods if you figure this belongs in the Gear & Accessories Forum, please feel free to move it. The reason I posted in Black & Green Rifles, is simply because we're the most likely GunNutz to drop 3-4 bills on a gun case! My curiosity was sparked to know what kind of rig is the fav of our tactical CGN'ers!:D Please feel free to post your opinions of your choice(s), reviews, experiences with your particular brand/model, where you purchased, approximate price and/or which Canadian dealer has the best deal on 'em! Figured it might come in handy, especially for all the newbies checking into the forum these days.:)

Hardigg Stormcase all the way! I've use both Pelican and Starlight, but I now own a Stormcase, and they're what I'll be buying from now on.

I bought mine from M.D. Charlton ($265), but I think Dave's Surplus is bringing them in now, or soon will be.

I rarely use a hard case as it is a tad overkill for most uses, it gets duty when travelling, however I have a Starlight case with the foam cut to fit M4, pistol and accessories. I have on order a Hardigg M16 case so I can use it for my fullsize service rifle or M4 and a pistol, will post a review when it arrives. For a soft case, the Marksman M4 case is tough to beat.

You got a link of the Marsman m4 case?
I've been giving the iShot SERT case a hard look.

Type in Marksman supplies in Mill Bay...he made the first M4 case for me and has since added a few extra features, it is made from old school CFish canvas and is bombprood.

I use my Pelican #1750 for 2 rifles in transport or strip out the foam and use for rifle/suitcase combo for hunting trips (ie: pack rifle and cloths, gear in one case)
