Premiere Reticle Heritage scopes

Savage, I don't recall Skullboys scope having any issues. I am on my 3rd S&B now, as the first two had reticle paint on the inside of the lens. from what I was told by S&B there were a total of 18 such scopes, all produced the same day, by the same girl, which had the paint. She was in charge of the painting of the lines and didn't clean the glass properly after, or something (the accent was a bit thick on the phone). Vbull and Wolverine and S&B definitely treated me excellent throughout. With S&B telling me to put the scopes through whatever I wanted, short of cutting them up. To say they withstood a crap load, and still performed awesomely would be an understatement. If the PR scopes are even half as good, they will be worth the money, too bad they picked such a lame name for them though. It should've been "cooler", their marketing people suck.

Yea I agree Heritage really doesn't quite fit in my opinion :D

Yes I have heard stories about how people test their S&B, none of this safe queen sh*t. Things like submerging them in a tub of water for a day, then throwing it in their freezer overnight lol... waiting for it to thaw and it is perfectly fine... pretty damn impressive.

Also, Redman if you seriously want bad pictures of my decent groups at 50 with ball ammo I will happily post it.. just seems like a waste, and no1 would believe what I said the groups were anyway...

Thanks,
- Koshy

Rob thanks for clearing that up

The Only Scope I would put side by side test and compare to S&B is The Premier reticles, they are up there at the same level, currently I haven't seen anything come closed to the Pair... With S&B, before the scope is pack from Factory, it has been check and recheck even before getting to the QC... So 120% with S&B, and because they that good, Also had a change to check out Premier reticles Down in LA, Very Nice also. Like S&B, Premier Reticles Seem to have a very good price here in Canada.
I wouldn't hesitated buying here in Canada, from a Reputable Source Any day!.

Zeiss Helsoldt is only one that comes close to either of them, but you pay about another $1,000 or more... and extremely hard to get in Canada as far as I know :p

Oh, Forgot about that One, Yes, You do have to sell you Kidney, but it worth-ed...
But for the 3-4000 mark, it pretty hard to beat S&B, Premier Reticles...

Tell you what, I still have this Zeiss Helsoldt 6-24X56mm 30mm Tubes, I sell it to you for a good price, and Used that Money to Purchase another SuperScopes.

What is the actual difference between the Hensoldt and the Diavari series of Zeiss scopes? They make the same magnification and reticle options.

Shooting edge had it for $4000 at the moment, there was a few left several month back before the snow come down, But I think They are sold, I am looking at the 72mm objective, they are also very nice...

I have the same scope but in Diavari series and was curious as to the differences other than the mill spec certification that the hensoldt line carries..... My next purchase will be a 50cal so I will need the 72mm as well for that.

they both the same Manufacture, there is slight different, the hendsoldt are suppostly for Millitary and Zeiss are for Civil, but now aday any one can buy it so, Military or not, I saw one Zeiss at P&D for under $3000, look very nice, about the same spect as the Hendsoldt, So to be Honest, I am not 100% sure on that...

you Right, there is a little recess on my scopes, beside the recess different, everthing is the sames, I am sure, also saw one Zeiss 6-24X56 down at PD, and they want 2900Plus tax, it look pretty similar to you Zeiss(brian46) even have the sticker on top of the scopes.

Very Nice scope Brain, I think only the Hendsoldf had the recess, I saw one of the scope like you down PD, Very nice scopes, Sure up there with S&B, Premier.

Yeah, the sticker is for the Lotu Tec lens coating they are now doing, just haven't taken it off yet. I don't think the recess has any effect on how it operates in comparison to the diavari series......
It was a toss up between the S&B and the zeiss when I purchased it, the S&B was months away and the zeiss was available in a couple weeks, so that made my choice a little easier.
The Zeiss glass seems to give a slightly clearer picture than my friends S&B so I think I made the right choice, haven't seen a premier as of yet.
