I am sure not many have a whole house as a rifle den, i do... For sure miss caramel would not permit this kind of bordel in our Ontario farm house, here is caramel territory, were me and my grandson Ray live the real no shedule male life... With pink walls... Who care....Certainly not us... JP.
 
Interesting thread. I really like yours M29 setup.
I would like to see your result in 100m. Mine would be only in 50m cuz that is the furthest pistol range at my club.

This rail on top is great to get back to the iron sight... I like it... JP.

.. a Red Dot. I used mine for 200yards. Shooting this combo @100 is childs play. I'm not kidding. The extra long barrel gives you almost "rifle like velocity".

Who makes that RD? It may be just what I'm looking for on the Ruger Hunter. If it doesn't work out it can be easily used on another another firearm.

Ultra Dot is a good one to look for in that style.
Made in Japan, lifetime warranty. (not sure about service in Canada?)

I really don't understand why one of the CGN sponsers hasn't taken on import,support, and distribution of Ultradot in Canada?

Their new Matchdot II looks nice for long range and short range work with it's exposed elevation target turret.

I did 1 out of 10 at 200 yard wih 12 inch gong in the winter where I could walk my shots in from seeing the impacts on the snow. 357 with a GP100.

Next time at the range i will bring out my 29/Shield mini combo and zero it over the bags at 100 yards, then i will proceed to see if offhand i can get close to my goal... JP.

Does 50 meters count? I have no access to 100 meters.

I may start it all at 50 yards for the next outing, get use to it, than the next range session i will move out to 100 yards, i am sure it will take a lot of shots on target at 100 yards to get it 100% right... JP.
